Meeting stuff

A couple of questions worth discussing:

- I know that, in the last incarnation of this group, Suz mentioned having some writing time during meetings, either from a prompt or freewriting. Are we still interested in that? Maybe we could rotate and have a different person choose the prompt each time (the 'host'? draw it out of a hat?). Thoughts?

- FOOD. Everyone likes food. I think potluck might work. Any suggestions?

YES writing time, EH on prompts, EH on food
I'm finding it hard to write unless under peer pressure lately, so I vote for having some kind of time to write at the meetings (time permitting, I suppose). The writing prompts are optional, though. They probably take more time to put together than they are really worth.

No idea about the food. Potluck sounds good, esp since I'm probably going to be coming to the first few straight from the hospital. This would mean my contribution is a bag of something from whole foods. ;-)

prompts and munchies
writting works. as long as I don't get caught up in this silly paper and forget. Someone better call me just to be sure. Silly thing's comming up on due.

as to food, well, it's good. But I don't really have any and payday isn't til fri. ... So, I'll have to pass on that.

I'm all chock full of groceries as of last night, so I'm certainly willing to add my small amount culinary finesse to the festivities.

I also have The Book of Matches which is chock full o' writing prompts (1001 of them, to be exact) and there's a significant percentage of them that I'm quite fond of. I'm happy to break it out for the group.
